Draft — pending legal review

This text is a working draft prepared as a starting point. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer and is not legal advice. Have counsel review and adapt it — including the company details, warranty terms and governing law — before this page goes live. Delete this notice once that is done.

01

Accepting these terms

By creating a Carage account or booking a service through the app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the app. We may ask you to accept updated terms before you book again.

02

Who we are

Carage is the consumer app of [COMPANY LEGAL NAME], registered in [COUNTRY] under commercial registration [NUMBER], with its registered office at [ADDRESS]. Services are performed at partner workshops, including Monza Cars in Beirut, or at a location you choose where at-home service is available.

03

Your account

You need an account to book. Keep your phone number, vehicle details and contact information accurate — pricing, parts matching and warranty all depend on them. You are responsible for activity on your account, and you must be legally able to enter a contract in your country of residence.

04

Booking a service

A booking is a request until we confirm it. We confirm by notification in the app. If a workshop slot, part or rider is unavailable after you book, we will offer you an alternative time or cancel the booking at no charge.

05

Prices and quotes

Prices shown in the app are generated from your vehicle’s model data and the service level you choose. The price you accept at booking is the price you pay for the work described, unless additional work is found and you approve it separately. Prices include the taxes shown at checkout; delivery, pick-up or at-home fees are displayed before you confirm.

06

Pick-up, delivery and at-home service

Where you choose pick-up, a rider collects your vehicle at the address and time you set and returns it after the work is complete. You must be authorised to hand over the vehicle, and it must be legally roadworthy, insured and registered. Please remove valuables — we are not responsible for personal items left in the vehicle. Timing estimates are estimates and can be affected by traffic, weather and workshop load.

07

Parts, approvals and the condition report

Where a service involves replacing parts, the app proposes options matched to your vehicle at the quality level you selected. No part is fitted and no additional work is carried out until you approve it in the app. If we find a safety issue during inspection, we will tell you and may decline to release the vehicle until it is addressed or you accept it in writing.

08

Warranty

Work carried out through Carage is covered by a workmanship warranty of [PERIOD / DISTANCE] from the service date, recorded in your vehicle’s digital service history. Parts carry the manufacturer’s own warranty where one applies. The warranty does not cover wear from normal use, damage from accident, misuse, racing or off-road use, work later altered by a third party, or faults unrelated to the work performed.

09

Changing or cancelling a booking

You can reschedule or cancel free of charge up to [NOTICE PERIOD] before your slot. After that, or if the rider arrives and the vehicle is not available, we may charge a fee covering the trip and reserved workshop time — the amount is always shown before you confirm the booking.

10

Payment

Payment is due on the terms shown at booking — in the app, or on collection where cash is offered. If a payment fails or is reversed, we may suspend your account and recover the amount owed. Receipts are issued in the app.

11

Your responsibilities

You confirm that you own the vehicle or are authorised to have it serviced, that the details you give us are accurate, and that the vehicle is safe to drive when handed over. Tell us about known faults, aftermarket modifications or anything that affects how the vehicle should be handled.

12

Our responsibility, and its limits

We are responsible for carrying out the work with reasonable care and skill, and for damage we cause to your vehicle while it is in our care. We are not responsible for pre-existing faults, for wear that becomes apparent during service, for loss of personal items, or for indirect losses such as lost income or missed appointments. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

13

Your data

We collect the vehicle and contact details needed to price, perform and record your service, and we keep a digital service history tied to your vehicle. How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell your personal data.

14

Our brand and content

The Carage and Carservify names, logos, app, pricing logic and content are owned by us and may not be copied, resold or reverse-engineered. You keep ownership of anything you upload, and give us permission to use it as needed to deliver your service.

15

Changes to the service and these terms

We may change or discontinue features, service areas and pricing. Where a change materially affects you, we will give notice in the app. Changes take effect from the date they are posted, and the version that applies to a booking is the one in force when you made it.

16

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION]. Disputes will be handled by the courts of [CITY / COURT], unless a mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
